perhaps this is just a young H. americanum. It was certainly fresh/tender when I ate it!

Since I haven’t yet eaten the specimen. I’m still not really convinced, as this seems a mature specimen and the teeth are pretty consistently around 1cm or less… I’ve encountered H. americanum around and feel it’s teeth are much longer than this
