Coltricia perennis Picked in a palm oil plantation 56km NW of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Pileus is 150mm and velutinous. Stipe is solid, woody (or corky?) 80mm long and 15mm wide. No gills, pores as per picture. They were picked directly from the ground, yet I am not ruling out polypores as there is a tendency to bury dead palms and plant directly over. My real concern that these may not be Coltricia perennis is that all samples I have found indicate a upturned pileus where these are plane.
