Since this is a rather large basidiome from a norther US area, I’m inclined to suggest that this is either Amanita ameirvirosa or A. suballiacea. Both these species (from what we now know) have wide ranges in eastern North America. In the northern parts of their ranges, we know them from at least the Island of Newfoundland (amerivirosa) to Michigan (_suballiacea__).
