Observation 338352: Tricholoma davisiae Peck

Scattered in birch/hemlock grove. Caps 7-12 cm, greenish yellow with darker olive fibrils at the center radiating out toward the edge. Some caps broadly umbonate, edges wavy and split at maturity. Pinkish tinge at the cap edge. Gills close, pale yellow with pinkish tinges, notched. Stipe 2-4 cm thick x 6-9 cm long. White with yellowish tinges, may have pinkish stains near the base. Flesh firm, white, discolors slightly pinkish when cut. Spores 5-6.5 × 3.8-4.9, n=30, ellipsoid.
