Notes:
New to this. Wondering if anyone could identify? Variable webcap( cortinarius)? Something else?Growing single out of decaying log and leaves in a hardwood forest. Believe to have a young, middle and old aged sample. Stem is sturdy, cap is more brittle. No scent to say, blue bruised stem, cap is viscid when wet, the cap was almost a thin film, transparent towards the ends. The cap was light brown, slightly darker one the very top with a raised bump. Spore print is a cinnamon brown. Dried cap is golden and has a sheen to it. Adult caps were umbrella shaped, the old ones curled flat and slightly up.
