I found info about pure purple color

On pg 147 of the posted reference, it says “Early in development it is entirely lavender, but it soon fades to yellow with only hints of lavender remaining in the gills and basal mycelium”

There were also brown/tan caps

There were numerous brown/tan capped specimens on this log that I sadly did not photo. You can see in the main picture the far right mushroom is much lighter
