Found at Van Buren State Park about 10 miles north of Findlay. There were about 20-50 of them in all stages of development. It was at a location where there was a lot of grass and many pine trees. it was a archery range I think. It had rained for 3 days, thunderstorms. It has been dry for 4-5 days respectively.
Saw them from the road as I was driving south. Very eye catching.

Very striking orange yellow caps with warts
Old, leathery, cracked cap. Pale yellow
Had to dig out the pine needles to get the base and stipe
Old growth. Pale yellow cap, leathery skin
