Found at VanBuren State Park, 10 miles North of Findlay. These were growing out of the ends of logs by the railroad tracks. Very meaty mushroom, heavy and firm.


There is a very dark rusty brown spore print on the cap of the lower fruit.
Caps have yellow orange warts.
Tan brown tops coloring darker-lighter from the center
Flesh was white when cut, turning yellow as it drys
