a more or less precise ID by Vadim Kryukov – Ophiocordyceps corallomyces; I gave the specimen to Vadim for a more detailed study.

As far as I’ve understood, it’s the first find of the species in Siberia as well as the southernmost/westernmost find of an Ophiocordyceps species.
