Observation 339856: Phallus hadriani Vent.

Notes:
A veritable field of hadriani eggs partially submerged in a heavy layer of wood chips surrounding a park sculpture. Purplish eggs are ridged and pitted, with purple rhizomorphs, some still attached to bits of wood chips. Collected eggs are in various stages of development which can be seen in Image #4234-001. I hope to return in a day or so to see if I can locate a mature specimen.
