-taste: bitter, slightly acrid

-caps: 4.3 cm to 7 cm wide

-stems: 4 cm to 7 cm long, 6mm to 8 mm wide

-cap: slimy and sticky (from recent rains), convex, margins enrolled in younger specimens, color near margin, 4A2, 4A3; center of caps, 6D4

-context white

stem: mostly equal, curved, off-white, lighter than cap margins, some scattered dark brown fibrils

stem context: solid, white

gills: attached, slightly decurrent, white, subdistant, moderately broad
