Observation 340797: Lactarius Pers.
When: 2018-09-20
Collection location: Blacksburg, Virginia, USA [Click for map]
Who: Mark Prosser (mark prosser)
No specimen available
Notes:
Bunched grouping found on steep hillside between conifers and hardwoods. These are a joined group of four , young with inrolled cap edges and whitish gills. Cap markings appear to me to be similar to C. odora vs. Lactarius, but not sure.
