Pileus: mature specimen 80 mm, round, convex with central umbo, incurved split margin, glabrous, dry, rugose, ochraceous-buff, darker over umbo; immature specimen convex, no umbo, white floccose tissue over disc, pale yellow.

Context: off-white.

Lamellae: emarginate, subdistant, serrulate, long lamellulae, broad, incarnate.

Stipe: 85 × 13 mm, stipitapellis splintered in mature specimen, glancing, annulus 1/3 to 1/2 from apex, equal, subarcuate in mature specimen, eburneous with small flakes of white tissue above annulus, ochraceous-buff and striate below annulus, stipe context pale lilac.

Spore Print: brown.

Spores: 8–13 x 6–8.25 µm, limoniform, verrucose, brown.

Chemical Reaction: Pileus dark brown with KOH.
