Observation 341488: Oudemansiella Speg.

Notes:
Single specimen on ground beneath oak. 2" cap tan, smooth, slightly sticky. 2.5" stipe whitish, smooth, cylindrical, brittle.
gills white, attached, distant.
No change in color upon bruising; odor not distinctive.

Specimen had characteristics of proposed name Oudemansiella Sp.

Subsequent research convinces me Pulk’s proposed Oudemansiella sp. makes sense for genus. My specimen certainly had the same characteristics. I will study this genus more for possible species. Thanks.
