Observation 342247: Agaricales Underw.

Notes:
[Tullis-Krstic foray]

Growing on decaying sticks and branches, on the ground. No odor, ‘fungal’ taste. Stems rather tough.

Basidia 4-spored, 40+3.5 × 7. Spores 8-11 × 4-6.5, apparently hyaline and inamyloid (possibly weakly amyloid). Cheilocystidia abundant, 40-70 × 6-9. Pleurocystidia either absent, or like cheilos (didn’t check carefully). Pileipellis a cutis, with tightly packed clamped hyphae, 3-5 microns wide. Hyphae of the stipitipellis often curved, terminal cells simple (cylindrical).

All tissues clamped, no reactions in Melzer’s.
