Observation 342260: Polyporales sensu lato

When: 2018-11-02

Collection location: SW Mount Hood, Clackamas Co., Oregon, USA [Click for map]

Who: Adam Bryant (Adam Bryant)

No specimen available

Notes:
Large, dense and rubbery, under the root ball of a tree that had fallen. Hemlock I think. Fairly formless. Not a shelf polypore from what I could tell. The small circular object is a root that was cut as I cut a cross-section. It had been enveloped by the fungus.
