Trees: loblolly pine, southern live oak, yaupon Holley, muscadine grape vine also present.
Soil: sandy clay soil with leaf litter from above mentioned trees.
Flesh: white
Cap: 3cm dia., infundibuliform, yellow turning buff as it dries, smooth, moist but not slimy, margins rolled down, bald.
Gills: decurrent, forked, yellow, appears to have an occasional short gill.
Stipe: solid, yellowish in the upper 2/3 and pure white the last 1/3, drying brown, 3cm length 5mm dia.
Spore print: yellowish orange.
Smell: apricot
Taste: pleasant
