Growing in damp, boggy soil near pines. Cuticle peeling easily. Taste slowly becoming slightly hot on the tip of tongue. KOH pale orange to yellowish on cap. FeSO4 drying kind of olive-dingy yellow on stipe. Deposit cream to a very pale yellow. Spores long ellipsoid, amyloid with isolated warts between 0.5 to 1.0 microns; ~ 7.5-10 x (6.5)6.8-7.5(8)
