Multiple fruiting bodies with mature Douglas fir and Western red cedar. I also find many pantherinoid Amanita in Spring in this same canopy, along with A. augusta, A. novinupta in Fall generally fruiting at the same time. Harvested two samples for home herbarium.

This specimens has a rings on the lower stem that suggest an muscarioid species.
