Observation 34575: Flammulina velutipes (Curtis) Singer

No specimen available

Found on the ground in a grassy area , apart from one birch no other tree nearby.

It also interesting that my specimen also grow on grassy ground and don’t really have a black stem.

(note : the area of wich I found this specimen have been destroyed to make place to a road.

Those are photosensitive … might not have had enough sun at
that size to turn the stem black. I’ve seen them under bark
that look almost like farmed enoki.

I made a similar observation of Flammulina like mushrooms that appeared terrestrial (probably from buried wood) and did not show the very dark stalks.
