At first I thought this little mushroom was Resupinatus applicatus but something about it is different.

Great series of photos — it reminds me of the short
film “Powers of Ten”, where every few seconds the
magnification of the scene increases.

this is the year of the neat Hohenbuhelias!

I still have mine haunting me, downstairs in the lab. My first go-round at the scope was rather unyielding, and more things keep coming in!
