Collection location: Mitrula Marsh, Tahoe National Forest, Sierra Co., California, USA [Click for map]
Collected at the edge of continuously wet habitat at Sand Lake, along roads just above the Bassets store; growing among marsh grasses and mosses. Only one fruit body found, despite vigorous searching by Matt Keirle, myself and others. Specimen sent to SFSU Herbarium.
