A Purple coloration is perfectly normal and common in Ganoderma curtisii. Some can be quite vivid. Curtisii ranges from nearly white, to yellow, to deep red, sometimes with, sometimes without added purple. Not sure what causes the purple coloration though.

The coloration looks off from standard curtisii but not sure what else to label it as.
