fairly dark gray, cap not viscid, scaly, or spotted
ponderosa pine/live oak woods
not bruising/discoloring
pleasant mild smell, somewhat typical of tricholomas, kind of farinaceous
seems more violaceous in images than in real life;
very slight creamy yellow tint to gills, more noticeable in age, and minor rusty-brown bruising on lower stipe
