Very unusual to find this species in FL,

but IMO it fits the concept of I. badia!

Interested to see what our resident bolete sages have to say about this observation. I have no personal experience with this species, but based on images and descriptions, this obs sure looks like it could be badia. With the exception of an oddball obs in Mexico, this would mark the southernmost obs of this species on MO by quite a bit. BRB have the southern limits in North Carolina.
