Notes:
Blackening wax caps reaching fairly large size and with odd acute-angle caps
I took photos of the ones that still showed most of the original color, but then blackened at home
Caps were largely tomato-red, but a variety of colors. Specimen taken eventually blackened almost completely
The gills start out creamy, almost white as shown, and the margins darken first
Caps when wet at least slightly viscid
