Observation 358183: Agrocybe praecox group

Growing from fallen, decaying red oak (Quercus rubra) limb on woodland floor. Caps medium sized, brown. Some with a lighter brown blotch located centrally on top of caps. Stem pale cream colored, long and slender with a partial veil. Gills closely arranged, light brown attached (adnexed) to stem. Spore print brown.
