Obviously parrot mushrooms and very slimy.

Recognized by sight: Macro appearance, habitat, and size of spores and stipe match Murrill’s description; type location from the Bay Area. Originally, I had assumed this name was for G. psittacinus var californicus, but that is a different taxon, apparently. This is probably the “normal” one here and has no blue phase.
