Noticed fine white mycelium hairs around the fruiting body. I didn’t know if it’s part of the fungi.
Outer surface rough blisters smoother interior surface
Growing from a log next to trail.

If the mycelium hairs point to Peziza phyllogena. The observation took place on the 20th of October, Pointing to badia which is normally found in the fall. Or possibly P. repanda. Sorry I don’t have any other pictures of this specimen.
