Deconica merdaria

Definitely looks like the Deconica merdaria collections I saw in the ENCB herbarium the other day. Macroscopically it looks like Deconica coprophila with an annulus.

Hmmm… This photo was taken over 6 years ago so the horse manure and the fungi are long gone. No reason to revisit! The photos are ALL that’s left.

By the look of the annulus (and its zone) I would not rule out the genus Psilocybe for this collection. Please re-visit the site and take lots of pics!

Looks alot like merdaria var. major (Psilocybe moelleri)
