Observation 359411: Alnicola Kühner

Originally uploaded with SEHU011 (Observation 278027) with the following notes:

if two spp., then intimately intermixed ??in situ. spore print attempted but unsuccessful, though image one shows what appears to be a medium light brown spore deposit on the cap surface of one of the FBs. i separated these on the basis of gill spacing, presence/absence of veil tissue, and presence/absence of yellowish brown floccose patches on the young stipe and cap surfaces. I wondered whether the partial veiled, wider gilled, floccose/fleckced cap and stipe FBs (SEHU011) might be a Camarophyllopsis at first, but not without a spore print to confirm or deny that suspicion. All super macro shots are of material from SEHU011.??
