Specimen was nearly out of reach (4+m high) on side of mostly bare-trunked snag (unidentified) on the very steep N-facing slope roughly 50 m east of the bend in Swift Trail (the road); Douglas fir and some large ash trees were in the immediate vicinity—this was probably ash. I had to knock it down (into the net) with an extended handle insect net.
