Large-sized Agaricus under Monterey Cypress
Medium-brown fibrils on lilac-toned cap with warm brownish-buff spots near center, but no true central disc; the lilac fades off in age becoming a cool light tan-brown; flesh off-white and not staining; in field, weak mushroom scent with mild flavor, in age, odor becomes mustier, but not bad
Spores dark blackish brown, 4-5×5-7; stipe subclavate
2 fbs: one cap 15 cm, other 20 cm
KOH maybe slightly yellowish, but no obvious reaction
