Notes:
It is on granite cliffs in open places or semishadow of pine-tree forest.
This dark greenish-grey Aspicilia has curved up to vermiform areoles; apothecia are often complex with double ring or intergrowths of several small apothecia. Ratio of green and grey is very changeable. But this Aspicilia with the fine structure is the darkest colored here.
KOH test makes dirty yellowish-green then turned to dirty reddish-brown and chocolate brown colouring in several minutes.
