MICROSCOPY & ID BY DJANGO GROOTMYERS
Growing on the underside of a INSERT TREE SPECIES and associated with a darkened crust. Hysterothecia with rounded ends. Not producing any noticeable pigment in 1M KOH. Asci bitunicate.
Spores hyaline and didymosporous. Spore measurements: (6) 6.4 – 9.2 (9.6) × (2.7) 2.9 – 3.5 (3.6) µm, Q = (2) 2.1 – 2.7 (3); N = 24, Me = 7.5 × 3.2 µm; Qe = 2.4
