Yes Volva would fit in my hand

Some Italian field guides have a picture of a large gray species with a very large volval sack to which they apply the name (Amanita magnivolvata) of a species described from Finland and known from Norway.
The sack seems to me to be laarger than that shown in this image; also, at least sometimes, magnivolvata has a chestnut brown tint on the cap in the central region. The dried specimens that I have examined are much larger than those of the majority of species of section Vaginatae. This is why I am asking about size.
