Observation 366408: Mycena (Pers.) Roussel

Notes:
I’m fairly new to this, but I’m just trying to catalog more of the fungi in my area; there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of information on what little forest remains near Detroit. Let’s de-mystify the Detroit Fungus!
Cheers,
-C

P.S. Please contact me via email if you can help me identify this, I’m not really even sure how to contact a taxonomist or what makes one reputable.
P.P.S If my email is not available on here let me know and I will put it as a comment somewhere. I don’t really anticipate any malicious activity coming from a mushroom foraging site.

Found only on this log. Morels also present in area along with a few tree shelves.
Very cool underside; I like how the gills almost leak up onto the cap a little.
From the top!
Here’s a little bit of the stems and mycelium. Smooth stem, bare stipe
They all grew in clusters of at least 3
