On a stick of sweet birch.
Small size and growth on a smallish stick seem to favor leptocephalus over varius… if these names actually refer to different species. I was hoping for a spore drop because C du Q says spore measurements may be used to to make this distinction; but no spores dropped. Trying again with obs 369382.
