No specimen available

Notes:
Rubbery feel to the cap and stipe. Some specimens had gills exposed, while others were “covered up.” They were easy to pull up without damaging them—I didn’t even really have to dig them. Just yank! and then they came out.

I have two specimens currently set up to take a spore print, although I’m unsure as to how successful it will be. I’ll update this with the results tomorrow.

Some of the specimens had this texture on their caps, along with brown coloration.
Some of the specimens had smooth caps.
I was able to pull the stipe off the cap with relative ease, and it left a clean circle in the middle of the gills.
The stipe is hollow.
