Notes:
Rubbery feel to the cap and stipe. Some specimens had gills exposed, while others were “covered up.” They were easy to pull up without damaging them—I didn’t even really have to dig them. Just yank! and then they came out.
I have two specimens currently set up to take a spore print, although I’m unsure as to how successful it will be. I’ll update this with the results tomorrow.
