Observation 369141: Peziza domiciliana Cooke
When: 2019-05-29
Collection location: Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota, USA [Click for map]
Who: Ryan Franke (Ryan Franke)
No specimen available
Notes:
I tried to key this mushroom out using Mushrooms of the Midwest, but the key didn’t lead to anything promising.
Habitat: Fruiting from a 5 gallon bucket filled with used aquaponics clay pellet media. The pellets were being overwintered in a heated garage (not currently in use) and we noticed these mushrooms fruiting amongst the pellets when taking them back out for the pond this growing season.
