Growing on a rotten herbaceous plant stem. Sclerotia absent. Stem bases sterile. Without a distinct “head”. At least some basidia 2-spored. Spores amyloid, smooth and thin-walled. Spore measurements: (8) 8.2 – 10.1 (11.5) × (3.6) 4.1 – 4.9 (5.5) µm, Q = (1.9) 1.91 – 2.3 (2.5); N = 30, Me = 9.4 × 4.5 µm; Qe = 2.1
