The pore surface is a bit difficult to ascertain, probably because of colonization by a Hypomyces. So, I find it a bit difficult to ID the host mushroom. Moreover, the cap surface is not as hairy as would generally be expected for L. arcularius (formerly Polyporus arcularius). But, this may simply be because the hairs have eroded or perhaps became appressed to the cap.

So two things going on here, I thought the underside seemed a little off.
