Notes:
Used bolete filter and narrowed it down to a possibility of boletus nobilis. Based on size, one mushroom i found was more than 9 inches across, mottled yellow brown cap.
These attract fly larva and disintigrate quickly.
Caveat my mom left out some noodle paste from cooking noodles in and the bolete did not disintigrate when immersed in that, just when left on the counter without food.
Found near other boletes and mushrooms in spanish lake park in woods. Oak trees and other tree species around.
I was walking and felt a pull towards one which is how i found it. I heard intuitionally they are a good edible at that time.
