-Found fruiting alone in soil near living deciduous hardwood trees
-Gilled hymenium is attached (adnate) to slightly descending
-Gills appear slightly forked near the stipe
-Stipe has an ever so slight rosy/lilac color
-Stipe is club shaped to bulbous
-Gills are brittle and shatter when broken
-White spore print
