Hamilton Co, FL (north central FL next to the GA border)
Growth: Live Oak
Perennial, been growing for at least 3 years
Width was at minimum 18", could have been closer to 24". It’s huge!
Thickness, possibly 12" at the base.
Pores: incredibly tiny, I counted 5-8 per mm and round. Appears to be peachy-orangy-pinky in color.
Flesh: white, firm but not what I would call corky though. But this sample was from nearer the edge.
Dorsal side was green, think from the moss growing on it.
