Based on chemical features: Comparison of the ITS sequences: other than the 15 ambiguities in 258950 (it was a single read), a few gaps in the homopolymeric regions, and 3 relevant mismatches in the ITS2 region, the two sequences are in good agreement.

The derived full-length ITS sequence is 637 bps long (between GGATCATTA and [A]TGACCTCAAATCA). The two ambiguities seen here are in the LSU region and not of concern.
I believe this collection to be conspecific with obs 258950 based on the sequence comparison (see the details above) and the morphology. A BLASTn of this nrITS produced the same hit profile as MO258950.
