Description: Brown slimy convex cap ( more planar with age) with central umbo, dark center, margin curving under in young specimens; gills off-white, close to subdistant, somewhat decurrent to stipe which is white and slimy also; Stipe is solid, hint of ring on some specimens, substantial, 1.3-2 cm across; flesh is white
Size: 3.8-9 cm caps, stipe 6-10 cm long
Sporeprint: white. Spores: ellipsoid
