It was found in a mixed forest but yea it was photographed where found so it appears pine may have been more dominant. Likely found upland, since the area transitions to mesic bottomland deciduous forest down the hill

That obs came to mind as well. I think that’s a candidate for Kerrigan’s ‘TRc’ lineage that he briefly discusses in his 2016 text.

reminds me of Ryan Patrick’s obs 284291, also collected in a habitat with pines. The vivid rubescens made it quite memorable.
