Notes:
Growing scattered in hardwood mulch. Odor not distinctive. Caps glabrous and hygrophanous. Young caps with appendiculate veil remnants. White, firbrillose veil present in young fruiting bodies and not leaving an annulus. Pileipellis composed of hyaline, irregularly rounded elements. Lamellar trama hyaline. Pleurocystidia absent. Cheilocystidia hyaline and clavate to vesicular. Cheilocystidia measurements: (17.2) 19.4 – 32.5 (37.9) × (10.7) 13.3 – 22.7 (33.8) µm, Q = (1.1) 1.2 – 1.9 (2.4); N = 30, Me = 25.6 × 17.3 µm; Qe = 1.5. Basidia 4-sterigmate. Spores chocolate brown in 1M KOH, smooth and with prominent apical pores. Spore measurements: (6.1) 6.5 – 7.7 (8.2) × (3.4) 3.7 – 4.1 (4.2) µm, Q = (1.6) 1.7 – 2 (2.3); N = 30, Me = 7 × 3.9 µm; Qe = 1.8
