Notes:
Growing among mosses covering a well rotted Tsuga canadensis stump in a swamp. Cap glabrous. Pileipellis an ixocutis. Lamellar cystidia lacking. Basidia 4-sterigmate and basally clamped. Basidia measurements: (23.4) 25.2 – 31.3 (36.1) × (5.2) 5.4 – 5.7 (6) µm, Q = (4.3) 4.6 – 5.2 (6.4); N = 7, Me = 28.4 × 5.6 µm; Qe = 5.1. Spores smooth, hyaline, thin-walled and apiculate. Spore measurements: (5.3) 5.7 – 7.7 (7.8) × (2.7) 2.8 – 3.6 (4.1) µm, Q = (1.5) 1.7 – 2.3 (2.4); N = 30, Me = 6.5 × 3.3 µm; Qe = 2
